Marc Almon

Marc Almon is a filmmaker, place maker and arts advocate. In addition to making award-winning film and television as a producer based in Nova Scotia, Marc is co-founder and first chair of Screen Nova Scotia, the world’s first member-driven non-profit film commission.  Marc also co-founded Culture Link CIC, a Community Interest Company that successfully raised $14 million to create the Light House Arts Centre in Downtown Halifax, a 100,000 sq ft facility that features a television studio, performance hall, dance studio and office space for cultural non-profits.

Passionate about good, reliable public transportation, Marc is a proud member of Rail Connects Nova Scotia.
