Rob Sutherland

Rob Sutherland is a recently retired CA/CPA who spent most of his career in KPMG’s Advisory practice.  He worked in KPMG offices in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Toronto. He has over forty years of experience involving the development of business plans and related financial models, restructuring assignments and the delivery of infrastructure through alternative service delivery mechanisms. For the last 25 years Rob’s primary focus was advising governments and pension funds on infrastructure development and acquisition as a Partner in KPMG’s Global Infrastructure Advisory practice. This involved a wide range of sectors including Highways, Toll Roads, Airports, Ports, Marine Ferry Services, Shipbuilding, Gaming, Healthcare, Natural Gas Distribution, and Electricity Generation and Transmission. From 2010 through 2014 Rob acted as COO of KPMG’s Global Government and Infrastructure Practice. Rob has lived in the Gaspereau Valley since 2007.
